Operation Rules for Gliders

Prefer using golf carts, if necessary, cars/pickups okay (NO MOTORHOMES ALLOWED ON TAXI OR RUNWAYS) to tow gliders from ramp to stage area. All tow vehicles must have flags or yellow flashing lights and must carry radio communication tuned to 122.80. All vehicles yield to aircraft.
Keep taxiways open at all times.
Staging gliders must remain free of operation surfaces until immediate launch.
If you leave vehicles in the staging area vehicle must be behind hold bars a minimum of 20-feet from taxiway. LEAVE KEY IN VEHICLES SO THEY CAN BE RETURNED TO EJC RAMP.
Put all glider towing equipment 10-feet north of taxiway B east of yellow hold line.
We land and exit the runway at 3000 Ft. mark at taxiway B. Get off the runway ASAP. When clear of runway attach your tow equipment and proceed to EJC ramp.
NO MID-FIELD TAKE OFF’S.
